Location: Phoenix Lake on the east side of Mount Tamalpias.
I've walked by this section of trees numerous times while taking the walk around the lake and I'm always drawn to the dead grey trees that are still standing waiting for mother nature to send them to their grave. For whatever reason I always check them out..this time I had my trusty (now 9 year old) Fuji X100s camera with me. It was now nearing the end of the day and the daylight was fading as the sun dropped down over the mountain...but this day of all days those trees looked extremly errie...something very Steven King Movie errie.
